CPS Technologies Corporation Appoints Richard Tevis Director, Quality Assurance

CPS Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq:CPSH) today announced that Richard Tevis has been appointed Director, Quality Assurance, effective immediately. Richard Tevis replaces Michael Staab, who continues to be a key member of the CPS quality team, but who will now be working part-time.

Richard brings deep knowledge, skills and experience in all aspects of quality, and he fully understands CPS’ proprietary process technology and capability as a result of having worked at CPS for several years in senior engineering positions. We are grateful for the wonderful service of Michael Staab over many years, and are delighted he will continue to be a key member of the CPS quality team”.

Mr. Tevis’ previous positions in quality include Quality Manager, Universal Products, Inc., a manufacturer of stampings and assemblies; Quality Manager, Five Star Surgical, a manufacturer and refurbisher of surgical instruments; and Supplier Quality Engineer at Kopin Corporation, a manufacturer of night vision and thermal weapons sights. Mr. Tevis’ is a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) from the American Society for Quality; he is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. He has degrees in Electromechanical Systems and Project Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Mr. Cavoli served as the President of Swagelok Company from 2021 through 2024, after being appointed COO in 2020. Joining Swagelok Company in 2010, he served as Director, Strategic Sales; he was named Vice President and CFO in 2014. Prior to this, Mr. Cavoli served as a captain in the U.S. Army, Finance Manager for Ford Motor Company, General Manager for Progressive Insurance, and founded LS Insights, a national brokerage firm. Mr. Cavoli has a B.S. from Georgetown and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Joe Englin
Director of Business Development
Mr. Englin joined CPS in April of 2023. Prior to joining CPS, his work experience includes positions in business development, with a focus on composite materials and aerospace markets. Mr. Englin received a BSE in mechanical engineering from Calvin University and an MSE in Engineering Management and Leadership.
