We Think Differently

Innovative custom solutions for modern customers. We will bring your vision to life.

Continuous Innovation

CPS did not become a world leader in advanced material solutions overnight. We worked hard to create innovative enterprise-level metal matrix and ceramic composites.

We work with our clients to build customized composites that exceed your needs, offering superior reliability, stability, and performance.

Our high-performance energy management components help electrify the economy. Literally, in some cases.

Optical

When looking for an alternative material for an optical circuit, an electronics company decided on our metal matrix composite with its ability to have their shapes cast with optical alignment features while maintaining controlled thermal expansion.

Aerospace

Key challenges in replacing aluminum housings with copper molybdenum inserts are high production costs and possible mismatches in CTE. We developed a comprehensive AlSiC package that maintained thermal performance, reduced weight, and matched the CTE of the client’s substrates.

Our Solutions Are Changing This World, and Others

When NASA sent the Perseverance Rover to Mars, CPS was not just along for the ride. Our material experts provided the AlSiC hermetic housing around the turret power supply for the SHERLOC scientific instrument on board the Perseverance Rover.

Thermal expansion, thermal conductivity, and the stiffness-to-weight ratio of the CPS AlSiC metal-matrix composite provides the higher level of reliability and performance that NASA trusts.

The proprietary AlSiC composite can also be found on the International Space Station and in the most recent generation of GPS satellites for the U.S. Space Force.

Find Out How CPS Can Change Your World

Our experts and composite engineers will create custom material solutions that will make you look at the marketplace from a different perspective.
